We are pleased to announce that our recent application to The National Lottery (TNL) Reaching Communities Fund was successful and we have been awarded £200,000 over a 3 year period. Throughout the application process TNL have been hugely supportive and an invaluable source of help and advice and on behalf of everyone at NTAS we want to say a great big thankyou!
This funding will make a significant difference to the work we do and the impact we have on people’s lives. It will enable us to “provide creative opportunities in inspirational spaces that give people the confidence and resilience to improve their mental health and wellbeing” and empower people to achieve long-term change.
As the only specialist local provider of Arts4MentalHealth services in North Tyneside demand for our service is growing. During 2019/20 we worked with 260 people and welcomed 108 new members and our new referral system means that health professionals can refer someone to us in as little as five minutes using our online forms.
NTAS makes a real difference to people’s lives and this grant, together with other grants and income, will help us to survive and thrive.
