In order to keep social distance, we have to limit the number of people who can be in the studio at the same time. You will need to book a space so that you can come in and if you do not have a booking, you will not be able to attend the studio, even if you intend to work outside the building.
You will have the option to book for either the 2D or 3D studio. Anyone who has booked for either studio can access an individual working space. There is only one space per session to use the pottery wheel, as this will need to be thoroughly cleaned between use by different members.
Due to the limited number of spaces that are available, we are asking that you do not attempt to book more than one visit to the studio per fortnight, to ensure that as many members as possible have the opportunity to visit. If you do book multiple places during the fortnight, one of these places may be cancelled without warning to free the space for another member.
We welcome member’s feedback and will keep this system under constant review.
The easiest way to book a space at the studio will be through our online booking system at https://ntas.setmore.com. Simply follow the instructions to select the type of session you want to attend, then pick an available day, then time.
2D or 3D?
To make sure the studio does not become too crowded, you will need to say whether you intend to work in the 3D or 2D studio, and there are limited places for each. Use of individual working spaces will be open to people working in 2D or 3D, so please select the studio for the type of work you are planning to do.
You will have the option to create an account if you want to, or you can click ‘skip login process’ to book with just your name and contact details.
Please make sure you use the name you registered with at the studio, and provide an email address if you want to receive notifications about your booking.
We are aware that not all of our members have access to, or are comfortable using the internet. Therefore, we are reserving a couple of spaces for each slot for bookings to be made by telephone.
To make a booking by phone, please call 0191 296 1156 between 10am-12pm on Tuesday, or 2pm and 4pm on Thursday and a member of staff will find the next available slot for you. The times when you can call to book will be increased as the studio reopens.
